All LHS & LMS students, athletes, coaches, and parents are invited to attend a special resilience building and mindset coaching seminar on Saturday 14 December at 9:00am. This is the third in a series of leveling up mentorship seminars. Our guest speaker will be former EWU Defensive Football coach and Mental Strength Coach, Ryan Sawyer!

🎵🎤 Eagles Shine On and Off the Mat 🎤🎵 Tonight was a showcase of talent, effort, and holiday spirit at Lakeside Middle School! 🎶 7th & 8th Grade Band, led by Mr. Mazurek Our talented musicians brought the holiday season to life! The 7th and 8th Grade Band delivered an unforgettable performance, featuring solos from Celilo G., Everett B., Josh D., Jaxon P., Gabby S., and Lucas S., each of whom absolutely crushed it. The band played a handful of festive holiday songs that had the audience tapping their feet and singing along, leaving everyone in the holiday spirit. Huge thanks to Mr. Mazurek, our fearless band director, for taking on the ambitious task of teaching his entire setlist in under four weeks! Your passion and dedication inspire our students and community alike. Bravo to the band for their hard work, talent, and energy—it was a performance to remember! 🤼 Eagle Wrestling Dominates Deer Park & Mountainside Our Eagle wrestlers showed grit and determination, earning multiple wins across the board! Our Eagles put up a major fight, showcasing grit, determination, and sportsmanship in every round. Your hard work made a big difference! 🇺🇸 Veterans Day at Lakeside Middle School 🇺🇸 Last Friday, we were deeply honored to welcome Veterans from the Nine Mile community to our school for a special Veterans Day assembly. Our talented choir and band filled the room with inspiring music, setting the tone for a truly memorable event. Students delivered heartfelt speeches that captured the spirit of gratitude and respect, reminding us all of the immense sacrifices our Veterans have made. We also shared hand-written notes and posters created by our students, which will soon be delivered to Veterans across Spokane to express our appreciation. It’s a small gesture to say thank you for their service, sacrifice, and the freedoms they have protected. A huge thank you to Mr. G., our leadership teacher and a Veteran himself, who orchestrated this powerful event. To all Veterans, words can never fully express our gratitude, but know that we are truly thankful. 🦅

Hey Lakeside Families! Our Leadership class would like to thank everyone who came to join us last month for our first movie night of the year. We had over 100 people present for a fun night, thank you so much! This Friday, we will be hosting a second movie night here at LMS in the cafeteria for a showing of “Nightmare Before Christmas!” This time, we will have snacks for sale, courtesy of the PTN.
