**Lakeside Middle School Track Team**
In a thrilling display of speed, skill, and teamwork, the Lakeside Middle School track team showcased their talent in a memorable competition. Led by their dedicated coaches and supported by enthusiastic fans, the event was a resounding success.
**Boys 7th Grade: Lightning on the Track**
The boys of the 7th grade dominated the competition, leaving all teams in their wake except for the formidable Northwood squad. With lightning-fast strides and unwavering determination, they set the track ablaze with their speed.
**Boys 8th Grade: Unstoppable Force**
The 8th-grade boys proved to be an unstoppable force, surpassing every opponent with their sheer athleticism and drive. Their performances left spectators in awe as they conquered the track with skill and precision.
**Girls 7th Grade: Riverside's and Colville's Rivals**
The 7th-grade girls showcased their strength and resilience, emerging victorious against Riverside and Colville in a thrilling showdown. With swift strides and unwavering focus, they left no doubt about their prowess on the track.
**Girls 8th Grade: Northwood's Close Call**
Despite a valiant effort, the 8th-grade girls narrowly missed victory against Northwood by just one point. Their determination and grit were on full display as they pushed themselves to the limit, earning the admiration of all in attendance.

**Coach Gervais and the Middle School Coaching Staff**

**Celebrating Coach Casey Monohan and the Entire Coaching Staff**
A heartfelt tribute goes out to Head Track Coach Casey Monohan, along with his stellar coaching staff, for their unwavering dedication and guidance. Their leadership was instrumental in shaping the success of the team and fostering a culture of excellence.
**Gratitude to Lakeside High School Track and Field Team**
The Lakeside High School track and field team, along with their coaches and supporters, played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the event. These young adults spent their entire afternoon and evening until close to 8 pm running events, taking scores, running events, and encouraging middle school students to pursue the level of excellence they've grown accustomed to.

Our next "Parent Engagement Committee" meeting will be held on Thursday, March 21st, in the Lakeside High School library at 6pm. All parents and community members are welcome. Topics for the meeting can be found on the attached agenda.

We want you to know that as of 7:00am this morning, the internet and phones at Nine Mile Falls Elementary and the District Office are still down. We are hoping our service provider will have us back up and running some time today.
